The last two posts I held were Head of English and Literacy Advisor.
Although my background is secondary teaching through my Masters in Education and working as a Literacy Advisor for a Special Needs school I have an excellent knowledge of working with emerging readers and writers from below National Curriculum level 1 and of synthetic phonics.
I am a secondary Humanities teacher who is passionate about communicating my in depth subject knowledge. I enjoy working with a wide range of students and igniting their enthusiasm for the subject as well as equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to further their studies.
I have taught a wide range of qualifications, including Entry Level, Functional Skills, GCSE and A Level.
The last post I held was Head of Humanities in a Special Needs secondary school, which has given me experience in a range of subjects including Science and Maths.
